Today, I saw something very cool in the shopping streets of Tokyo. A new AE86 model kit is being launched, in 1/8 scale. The final car will be about 50cm long!

The model is very detailed, and features electric pop up lights, a high quality chassis, and a lot of details.

The mean part of that kit is that you need to buy it one-by-one over the period of two years – every week they will release a new box with new parts for 2000yen, so that you need to keep buying until your model is complete.

There seems to be a possibility for an abo, where you can ensure you receive all boxes, and for some surcharge you can get some extra parts, such as a carbon fiber hood, sports exhaust, and illuminated fog lights.

I live in Japan, and since this kit is only available in Japan, I am offering you to buy the boxes over here, and send them to your home country, adding fees for effort and shipping of course. I assume that in total it would cost you about 3000€ / USD over a period of two years, maybe more, maybe less. I am offering this as an AE86 enthusiast to other AE86 enthusiast, because I assume it will be difficult to get this kit outside Japan. Admins, in case this is not allowed, please let me know where else I can post this.

For the details, please post a comment below. Due to the effort involved with going to the store, buying, packing and shipping, I would like to do this for at most three persons. Flats are small in Tokyo, so I also don’t have much storage space to buffer.
